Members of the American Business Association – EP (ABA-EP) will visit Washington, DC Feb 24 – Mar 1 for a Doorknock intended to educate legislators on USA competitiveness. The ABA-EP members will join other Middle East Council of American Chamber of Commerce (MECACC) volunteers from throughout the GCC states to deliver our message on the export / US jobs benefits of allowing Americans to compete in a global economy, and also to seek repeal of the “Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act” (FATCA). Additionally, the ABA-EP will be hosting our annual spring golf tournament on Mar. 21st to help the Arabian American Little League teams in their ongoing quest for a Little League World Series title. If you’re going to be in Saudi during that time & would like to sponsor / participate let us know.

Thanks to the US-Saudi Business Council & the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development for leading a trade delegation to the EP on Feb 3rd. The trade mission included companies from a broad range of sectors, such as nuclear and renewable energy, industrial instrumentation, construction and engineering, legal services, refrigeration and cooling systems, industrial safety equipment and others. We hope that the trip was a success for all the delegation & look forward to their return to the EP many times in the future. |
